Tethered Series Update.

Recently completed from the series Tethered. This sculpture replicates the plumage of the Northern Flicker and is constructed entirely from used aluminum cans. The Northern Flicker is a medium-sized bird from the woodpecker family native to North America. Here the male Flicker sits bound to a condensed cube of aluminum metal hoping one day for the freedom of flight.
